Oremus: Voices of Peace
Our newest recording, released on March 21, 2009. A live concert recording from June 2008, showcasing a program of sacred music designed as a prayer for peace and comfort to all. The first half of the recording features the Missa Brevis XI by Canadian composer Healey Willan, as well as music by Keith Bissell, Eleanor Daley, Rob Teehan, and Peter Togni. The second half of the CD is devoted to some of the most beloved sacred music in the choral repertoire, with music by Anerio, Palestrina, Josquin des Prez, J. S. Bach, Mendelssohn, Brahms, Faure, Franck and Mozart.
